Life is beautiful (essay)

I am an ESL student and need to do a four page essay. This is my first page and would like some corrections on it. Also if have an idea on what else to include I will appreciate it. Thanks

It wasa very sunny day, it was hot, the palms were dancing as the wind move them. Everyone enjoyed the day. There was music, dancers and singers. Birds flew from side to side. Children ran and played. Manyenjoyed a delicious pineapple mousse. It was a day of celebrations. Some sang and danced. Other played games in which they bet money. People looked so interesting and so cheerful. But there was she,my cousin Daniela. All shy, worried, alone at a table, sitting in a wheelchair looking at everybody. She was afraid having fun with others, since she doesn't have a leg it was very difficult to sharewith others. She thought she would be insulted and others will be uncomfortable by the way she is. She never expressed her feelings. She always kept something bottle up inside. With the only one whoshe used to be happy and have fun is with the boy she likes, Manuel. He was there sharing his talent of dancing with others. Manuel came closer to Daniela and said:
- Hey, why so alone?
- Uh,. um.Well my friends went to dance and I preferred to stay here to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
- Yes, the scenery is beautiful, but the music is very good, come let's dance.
- Uhg! Too bad, but don'tyou think people will be uncomfortable with me on this wheelchair?
- Not at all, we are all here to enjoy and have fun.
- Don't know. Maybe and I bump into someone, I'm not used to dance in awheelchair.
- How come you going to think like that, there is enough space and do not worry there's always a first time to try something new. Do not be discouraged, because you're in a wheelchair does notmean you can not dance.
- Okay, I'll try.
