My Neighborhood, which is Riomar, is located in the northeast of Barranquilla, Colombia.
I’ve lived all my life in this neighborhood and it grew with me.
In my neighborhood you’ll find fromrestaurants to hair salons.
Depending on the season of the year,you can see a river all across the 84th street, it is very impressive and dangerous, in many occasions cars and people have disappear in it.My neighborhood has a park named, ‘’ La Electrificadora’’in which people can do exercise and play basketball, while children ride their bikes and play on the swings; in gastronomsy you’ll find avariety of food such as: cheese, bollos, orange juice, salty mango, Colombian Plum, raspao’ also ice-cream, in this park you’ll have a wonderful afternoon of tropical trees, playful children anddelicious snacks.

You also have access to two of the most popular supermarkets of the city, Carulla and Olimpica, if you don’t want to go out from your comfortable home you can call domicile to any of thefour grocery stores located inside of the neighborhood.

I can mention some of the reference that are in my neighborhood, for example: Mary Mount School, Medalla Milagrosa School, Tres Ave MariaSchool, The Italian Club, The Torricelli Pizza Place, The Piazzetta, The Aqui Todo Stationary Shop and Drug Store La Rebaja. For transportations you can use any of the bus routes that pass through theNeighborhood, for example: Transmetro, Ruta 3, Ruta 4, Paraiso Porvenir, Coochofal and Maria Modelo.

Since I was a little a little girl, I’ve played on its streets; I learnt to ride a bike, toskate and even while I did my license test I drove on those streets. Nowadays, everything has changed, lots of houses have being destroyed for making buildings, those houses are now just memories thatwill be kept inside my mind forever and ever.
