This slide show has been put together primary in response to feedback we have received from our sales personnel that WWT is showing customers Landmark Hydraulic Outputs on how LoTADs willruin the customer’s hydraulics. This simply is not true.
In response we have done CFD flow modeling and looked into the possible misuses of Landmark’s Hydraulic Module. Note that this is in no waya criticism of Landmark software, which we use exclusively to model Torque and Drag, but misuses of even the best software are possible out of either ignorance or malice on the part of competitors.[pic]

The LoTAD was modeled on the low side of the casing. Water was used as a baseline to compare the LoTADs with their equivalent size WWT.

The linesabove show the flow of fluid across the OD of the tool. The coloration shows that the pressure impact of a LoTAD is very low. There are no red, yellow, or even green lines, which tell us our tool has nomajor hydraulic impediments.
Water was used as the modeling fluid.
Modeled in 9 5/8” 47 ppf casing (8.681” ID)
Flow rate of 650 gpm
The rotary speed was set artificially high by Joe Le, whofelt it was best to model under an extreme worst case environment.
The Outlet Pressure was set, and the Inlet Pressure needed to maintain the flow rate was 15.30 psi, which is 0.60 psi higher thanthe Outlet Pressure of 14.70 psi.
It is important at this point in the presentation to mention that we run one LoTAD per stand.
