Bogota

Bogota, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, (1991 to 2000 called Santa Fe de Bogota) is the capital city of the Republic of Colombia and Cundinamarca. Capital District is organized as enjoying autonomy in the management of their interests within the limits of the Constitution and the law. It consists of 20 locations and is the epicenter of political, economic, administrative, andcultural and tourist país. Creation of the District

The first district around the capital was the Federal District of Bogotá, created on June 23, 1861st to the city was the residence of the then federal United States of Colombia.
