OUR PLANET NEEDS US
Our planet every day is being most affected by humans, pollution is very important
to be taken into account that nature can produce complementary effects that exacerbate thesituation....
The presence of a certain element may increase the toxicity of other substances
apparently innocuous also intensive exploitation of natural resources and the de velopment of largeindustrial and urban concentrations in certain areas, are phenomena that have led to the destruction of nature and can lead to irreversible disruptions of the overall ecological balance, theconsequences are not easily predictable.
The major types of pollution are affecting natural resources: air, soiland water.
Some of the most serious environmental changes related to the phenomena ofradioactive pollution are exhaust, smog, the greenhouse effect, acid rain, destruction of the ozone layer, eutrophication of water or oil spills. Pollution presupposes a cost that often is not taken intoaccount and is very costil for the community.
The State must worry about the pollution problem by controlling its performance, living harsh laws and punishing violators also local governments should beaware of the disposal of waste, controlof the vehicle fleet; of green areas, the control of noise pollution, andpollutant emissions in their jurisdiction.
Citizens must become more aware of theproblem, demand respectfor the
environment and contribute to its deterioration and educate the public through schools and media as television, radio, newspapers on respect for the environment and theeradication ofbad habits of environmental pollution.
The environmental problem is a problem that affects the common good and the quality of life, and therefore can not be left to the discretion ofindividuals. The common good is a state responsibilityto represent the welfare of all citizens.
