The Back On the Road Tour is an upcoming concert tour by American hard rock band Aerosmith, currently planned for eighteen shows in Latin America andJapan in late 2011. From late October to early November, the band will perform ten shows in Latin America, with seven shows scheduled in South America (including the band'sfirst-ever performance in the country of Ecuador), three shows in Mexico, and one show in Central America, where the band will perform in Panama for the first time in their careers.Frontman Steven Tyler says of the upcoming tour, “I'm looking forward to sweating up a storm with the crazy Latin American fans." From late November to early December, the band will alsoperform eight shows in Japan. This will mark the band's first performances in Japan in seven years.
