1. How life in general was in that period and how this influenced education.

During this period, also called the middle ages, women didn´t have the same opportunitiesas men, the church had had very influence on the people, it was the highest power on this age, everybody had to pay for everything, weddings, baptisms, even de poorest people had to do it, if theydidn’t do it they, the church told them that they couldn’t get into heaven, so they didn’t have no choice, there were social classes, after de church was the monarch, then the noble knights and vassalsand at lthe end, merchants serfs and peasants. All this lifestyle influenced a lot in education, because not everybody could receive education, it was a privilege. The monks were the writers andchroniclers of the Middle Ages, compiled all the knowledge and plasmaban in books that were written by hand, creating the first libraries, Dominated all areas of knowledge, from mathematics, biology,chemistry, physics, astronomy, etc., and let us know chronicles written history.

2. Who education was for.

The education was only for nobels, knights and vassals, only men received education, thegirls didn´t have the opportunity to study, there were just a few cases where the girls received education, (the education wasn´t free, everybody had to pay for it). The boys started to study at theage of 12 and they finished their studies at the age of 16 and they received the name of scholars. Also the boys that were so intelligent could became into prists and teach the other generations.3. Were there any wars in that period? How did that affect education programs?

Yes, there were wars and they affected education. The principal conflict was the crusades. The medieval "Crusade" wasa holy war. For a conflict to be officially considered a Crusade, it had to be sanctioned by the pope and conducted against groups seen as enemies of Christendom. Initially, only those expeditions...
