Jim Sturgess as Jude and Evan Rachel Wood as Lucy are the main characters of this movie, directed by Julie Taymor and written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais,this musical is strongly influenced by 34 songs of the band "The beatles". It is set in the 60's where political tensions and antiwar movements reign during that time in USA. Jude is set to find hisfather in USA, leaving his life in Liverpool, a journey that will change his life as he finds true love and friendship. . According to Sony Pictures the film was nominated in 2007 Academy award tocostume design and 2007 Golden Globe to best picture in musical/comedy.
Raised by his single mom, Jude travels to America to search for his father at Princeton University. When he finds out that hisfather is nothing like he imagined, Jude meets a Princeton student Max who has a beautiful younger sister, Lucy. Max will take Jude to see America and will go to a journey to New York City to expand theirminds.
Jude and Max end up sharing a department with some interesting characters including a singer named Sadie, a guitarist Jo-Jo and Prudence.
Lucy lost her high school boyfriend in the war andbecause of this she wants to make a difference by protesting against the war.
Jude, Max, and Lucy explore themselves and the world around them as they travel across the country, Jude and Lucy fallin love with each other, and find themselves. When Max gets sent to Vietnam, Lucy is more involved in protesting.

the background music is an essential part of the movie, since its a musical, everysong takes you to a journey where you can feel that you are part of the movie too. A very iconic scene in the movie is the one where they are in the rooftop, as we know, the Beatles did their finalperformance live in a rooftop in London and since this musical is based on their songs, they pay tribute to the band with that scene
The edition of the film is very good, with the song Strawberry...
