Her sister thought the time was being sicker, but the sister didn’t want to donate her body parts. The mother was very angry because she wanted to her daughter donated all she want for help the sick one. They were many times to the judge, butanything were fixed. At the end the mother was very selfish in the way that she forced her daughter to donate. After all they knew that the sisters had a pact that consist that she will do everything she can to resist and avoid every transfusion, transplant and all the things that could help her sister. He took that decision because she was suffering very much and the only she wanted was die. Andthat was the end. She died in her mother’s arms.
There are several rules that doctors must follow, they should not allow parents to create children with the objective to help or to keep alive another one of their children. It is completely unfair to use a human being as a resource to maintain a sick human being alive. Parents should think in the newborn’s future. Unfortunately, this child wouldnot be able to live a normal life, as any other child, since it will have to be under constant medical supervision and it will have to take extra special care to its life as well as living with specific restrictions. It is very important that parents respect the child’s body since they cannot force the child to do anything with it without their agreement. Actually, it would be very selfish to use ahuman’s life to save another.
Life is a gift, not a tool nor a machine. People, as human beings, have feelings, mental and physical feelings. Any operation or transfusion to save another person’s life would be really painful and risky. It is important to also think in the consequences these operations and transfusions may bring, which could be real serious and they can even risk the patient’slife. Using a human body as a tool or resource of specific body components is cruel and selfish.
Analyzing the situation in a more ethical way, it would be immoral and selfish to create a human being with the objective of coming to the world in order to save a sick child’s life. Each person has its own rights, and as a right, any person can decide whether or not to donate blood, cells or a bodypart. Each human being is the owner of its own body, which makes it the only person who can make decisions over it. Anyone, including parents, can make a decision over its child’s body. As it was shown in the movie, if someone tries to make a decision over someone else’s body, a demand can be made against, requiring the rights over the owned body. In order to develop this procedure it is very...
