RESUMEN
El Parque Acuático Los Elenes es un balneario de aguas minerales con poderes curativos, además posee varios servicios para el confort y bienestar del turista. Se halla en la industria Turística que contribuye al desarrollo económico, social y cultural del cantón Guano. El motivo del presente trabajo es elaborar un Plan Estratégico de Marketing para Promocionar el Parque Acuático LosElenes. Para ello se ha realizado el análisis FODA donde se ha identificado las fortalezas del balneario para aprovechar las oportunidades que brinda el mercado, de igual manera se ha definido cuales son las debilidades que constituyen un problema al momento de combatir las amenazas. Al realizar el estudio de mercado se determinó una demanda insatisfecha del 34% a nivel del sector turístico de losbalnearios, en base a esta investigación se ha determinado las características de los clientes actuales y potenciales para satisfacer las necesidades y brindar un servicio de calidad de acuerdo a las expectativas esperadas. Con una adecuada combinación de las seis P’s y la elaboración de volantes, trípticos, llaveros, esferos y una página web, se ha logrado promocionar los servicios del balneario; elprecio de la entrada de $3 es accesible para la economía de todas las personas; los cursos de capacitación al personal ayudado a la excelencia laboral y armonía en los puestos de trabajo; la aplicación del merchandising en el balneario atraído a los turistas no solo del cantón Guano y Riobamba sino también a extranjeros y de provincias. Al analizar el estudio financiero dieron resultadosfavorables para continuar con el proyecto, debido que la TIR sobrepasa a la TMAR y el VAN es positivo.

SUMMARY
The Aquatic Park “Los Elenes” is a spa. Here there swimming pools fed by natural springs with their healing powers, in which the tourists enjoy of these services for their comfort and well-being. Guano canton is in the Touristic industry that contributes to the economic, social andcultural development. The reason of the present thesis is to elaborate a Strategic Plan of Marketing to Promote the Aquatic Park “Los Elenes”.

For this has been carried out the analysis FODA it has been identified the strengths of the spa to take advantage of the opportunities that it offers the market, in a same way it has been defined which are the weaknesses that constitute a problem to confrontthe threats.

To carry out the market study we determine a demand to unsatisfied from 34% to level of the touristic sector of the spas, based on this investigation it has been determined the characteristics of the current clients and potentials to satisfy the necessities and to offer a service of quality of agreement wings prospective expectations.

With an appropriate combination of the sixP's and the elaboration of steering wheels, triptych, key- ring , pens and one web page, it has been possible to promote the services of the spa; the price of the entrance of $3 is accessible for all the people; the training courses to the personnel

helped to the labor excellence and an harmony in the job positions; the application of the merchandising in the spa attracted the non alonetourists of the canton Guano and Riobamba but also to foreigners and of countries.

To analyze the financial study gave favorable results to continue with the project, due that the TIR surpasses the TMAR and the VAN is positive.
