The Red Leaf

Kozo Fuyutsuki was watching the GeoFront from the NERV cafeteria where many employees were eating or talking during their freetimes. The digital clock marked three minutes past midnight and the LCD monitors showed TV shows that Tokyo-2 Channels programmed for that late time. A sing contest caught the attention of the people,but Fuyutsuki preferred to watch the safety lights of the buildings that surrounded the inner. The red points seemed to be twinkled like stars, but the only red thing that Fuyutsuki brought from hisdeepest remembers was the blood. No smells, but a feeling near to death came to his mind, and a single question was said by him: “Whose did the blood belong?” Two female faces were the answers tothe question that Fuyutsuki wrote in his mind, but the answers were like a choice between A or B, because the red thing around both women were different. Fuyutsuki moved the nose like smelling when apurple-haired woman with a cold smile appeared before his eyes like a hologram. Then, the smell disappeared changing to another smell like blood with a new woman, but it wasn’t blood.
The Red Leafwas filled with that or not.
Fuyutsuki struggled with the choice during minutes or certain time, because no measures could give an exact time for thoughts that came from past. Unexpectedly, ananswer satisfied the doubt, but just for a general explanation not for defining the name of the woman.
The Red Leaf was filled with death.
Death has shape of leaf.
The sleep could not be defeated bytime, although someone can take pills or something for overtaking night and its mysteries. Kozo Fuyutsuki watched the clock and smiled:
Okay Einstein, try to put your relativism into the mind time.
