George Harrison, MBE (Liverpool, UK, February 25, 1943 - Los Angeles, United States, November 29, 2001) was a musician, composer, singer, record producer and British film producer,a member of the legendary band The Beatles . The early yearsAt age eleven, after passing a test, he was awarded a place at the Liverpool Institute for Boys, building today become the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he met Paul McCartney1960-1970

At first, Harrison did not qualify as a skilled guitarist, but the fact that he knew enough chords to play several themes that John Lennon did accept him in the group practice a guitaristHarrison made more fluid and creative, performing tasks of lead guitarist and rhythm. Later, well into the 70s, the sound getting to the steel guitar became his trademark.

1970-1980

After thedissolution of The Beatles in 1970, and after years eclipsed by the shadow of Lennon and McCartney, published much of the material that had accumulated over the years in his most praised by critics, AllThings Must Pass, the first album triple of musical history.
All Things Must Pass was a triumphant entry to the solo career of Harrison, and silencing dissenting voices who predicted a bad race forhim.

1980-1990

The publicist Derek Taylor Beatles helped in the arduous task of writing the book, first published by Genesis Publications. While Harrison's biography has some stories of his timewith the Beatles.
After the murder of John Lennon on December 8, 1980, Harrison suffered a severe concussion, due in part to his little contact with Lennon and anger not seen it mentioned in hisautobiography.

Death

Harrison suffering cancer reappeared in 2001, was diagnosed as metastasis. Harrison died in a mansion owned by Paul McCartney Mills in Hollywood, Los Angeles, 13 on November 29...
