World War II was between the Allies and the Axis Powers. The War lasted through 1939-1945, and ended with results of Victory in Europe day and Victory in Japan day. It was a plan of Nazi Adolf Hitlerto build up an Eatern Europe Empire for Germanyand Japan. It was related in the deaths of million of European Jews in the Holocaust. This World War II involved most of the world's nations, includingall of the great powers eventually forming two opposing military alliances, the Allies and the Axis. It was the most widespread war in history, with more than 100 million military personnel mobilised.It was the deadliest conflict in human history.
The major contribution of World War II was the signing of the Versailles Treaty, at the end of the World War II. The Treaty of Versailles was one ofthe peace treaties, the most important thing of the Treaty was required for Germany to accept responsibility for causing war. It ended the state war between Germany and Allied Powers.
The Nazi'salong with Hitler wanted to build a European Empire in the Eastern part of Europe. Operation Sea Lion, was unsuccessful because they couldnt gain dominance in the air over British air force. Theirnumber one goal was to build the European Empire in Eastern Europe. Operation Sea Lion was Germany's plan to invade the United Kingdom during World War II, beginning in 1940. To have had any chance ofsuccess however, the operation would have required air and naval over the English.
U.S.A. had a very important roll. The United States, was the game changer. They also had many resoucres to fight.The United States, had a very important strategy that changed the outcome of the war. Their next stop was D-Day battle in France when they did Russia attacked from the rear. After that, that caused allthe U.S. to be attacked form all sides.
