Stratus Clouds:                 Stratus clouds are low and grayish. They can be anywhere from ground level to 2km abovesea level. Any rain is often drizzle.
Altocumulus clouds:      Altocumulus clouds are found 2.5 to 6km above ground. They are rippled clouds that may produce light showers.
Cumulusclouds:              Cumulus clouds are fluffy white piles that often evaporate but sometimes can turn into Cumulonimbus clouds. They lie in between 1 to 2.5 km above the ground.

Stratocumulus clouds:   Stratocumulus clouds are broad and flat at the bottom and fluffy on top. They produce drizzling rain and lie1 to 2.5 km above ground.
Smog:                                   Smog is a mixture of fog and air pollution. It hangs onto the horizon of large cities. It becomes worse when a layer of warm airmoves over a layer of cold air creating a dome or temperature inversion.

Cumulonimbus clouds: Cumulonimbus clouds can are huge thick clouds which produce electrical storms, heavy rain, snow andtornadoes. They can stretch from near ground to 16km above Earth. The top of the cloud is called a thunderhead; it flattens out because it is blown by the strong winds. They can be from a few meters to akilometre wide.
