¿Para qué sirven?
Los pronombres objetos son pronombres que reciben la acción del verbo. Vienen después del verbo o después de una preposición.
Me gusta Susan. Megusta ella.
I like Susan. I like her.

La llamo todos los días.
I call her every day.

En el segundo ejemplo vemos que “I” actúa de sujeto (está en posición de sujeto), mientras que “it” y “her”están en posición de objeto (después del verbo).
Los pronombres objeto sirven como sustituto del objeto en una frase y se emplean para evitar las repeticiones. Los pronombres de objeto pueden serutilizados también como objetos directos e indirectos. Estos objetos pronombres son los siguientes:
I – Me
You – You
He – Him
She – Her
It – It
We – Us
You – You
They – Them
The seven basic pronounshave one form when they are used as subjects and another form when they are used as objects.
Subjects are what the sentence is about.
Objects are what is affected by the action of the subject.
I likewhisky. (I is the subject).
I read books. (Books is the object as it is receiving the action).
Object pronouns are used instead of nouns, usually because we already know what the object is. It makesthe sentence easier to read and understand and avoids repetition. We normally use object pronouns after a verb or a preposition.
