INTRODUCCION

The following paper shows how the computer has evolved since it was created so that it can perform better and operation since the first computer was two large rooms that now have on hand as a cell phone. This has helped to rapidly advancing technology in our world helping people

History of computer

The computers appear in the late 1950s.The computer turns out to be amechanical means (electronic, in fact) to represent descriptions free from ambiguity and get a useful result.

Moreover, arguably appears when the computer technology levels (primarily electronic) reach the stage of completion and refinement were already mathematical ideas and concepts, which happens in mid-twentieth century.

One problem that has always captivated is related to the activity ofcounting and the concept of number. Hence, the first tools were invented in mechanical device is free from the heavy task of calculating by hand

The abacus is the first mechanical calculator, but can not be called computer because it lacks a key, the program will not succeed until much later.

The calculating machine of Blaise Pascal (1623-1662). Gear is in a box, which provideresults of operations of addition and subtraction directly - showing a number through a window-

The analytical engine of Charles Babbage, born around 1830, this could be considered the first computer. This design, never been fully implemented, contained all the elements that make up a modern computer and a calculator differ.

The Analytical Engine was functionally divided intotwo parts: one that ordered and another that orders executed. Who executed the orders was a greatly expanded version of the Pascal machine, while the other was the key. The innovation was that the user could, changing control specifications, make the same machine execute complex operations, other than those made before.

This true forerunner of computers also had a section where the data receivedto work. The machine was instructed by the control unit, which indicated what to do with the input data, then for desired results. The main application that was developed for this machine was, construct tables of standard mathematical functions (logarithms, trigonometric tabs, etc.) That required much manual effort.
The data read by punched cards.

But this could never enter into circulationbecause each wanted to calculate a different function is needed to change the specifications.

It is valid to refer to this machine as the first digital computer, because the term does not presuppose the concept digital "e", as we now explain.

Natural processes share the characteristic of the continuous type, that is, the scale demonstrations of any phenomenon has no singularities or deadspots, but extends continuously from the bottom to the top. The height of a column of mercury clinical thermometer markings may vary between 30 and 45 degrees at all times and can be at any point on the scale. This phenomenon is known as an analogue.

Not so, however, with other phenomena. If it finds the quantity of windows in a building, for example, may conclude that are 140, but not 140 ½.These phenomena are called digital, perhaps because they can count on the fingers of the hand. In discussing these phenomena states (discrete positions or expressions) and the transition between them, and can be represented by a mathematical model known as finite automaton.

In short, a phenomenon called analog or continuous when any two of the manifestations can always be a third. In contrast, aphenomenon known as digital or discontinuous when two of her manifestations there is nothing, if not just a transition between two states.

Thus, one can speak of analog computers and digital computers: computers are those that handle digital information discreetly (in bits - bits-) are analog and they work through continuous functions - usually representing electrical signals.
