Interamerican University of Puerto RicoInter-American University of Puerto Rico is a private, with deep Christian roots. This has served as a cultural bridge between North American and Latin American through its foundation. This university hasbeen devoted to preparing students in all branches of humanistic endeavor, social and scientific, thus achieving positioned as one of the best universities in the country.
The Rev. John Will Harrisfounded the university in 1912, with the name Polytechnic Institute of Puerto Rico, this being a school elementary and higher in the Lomas of Santa Marta in Saint German, currently the St. German Campusis located in these land. The first graduation of high school is done for 1927 and achieved accreditation from the Middle States Association of College and Secondary School in 1944, becoming the firstschool liberal arts to receive this certification in Puerto Rico and outside the Continental United States.
