1. Para la funcin f denida por f1 (x) = x2 − 2x + 1, calcular:
a) f1 (−2a + 1)
f1 (x) = x2 − 2x + 1, x = −2a + 1
f1 (−2a + 1) = (−2a + 1)2 − 2 (−2a + 1) + 1
f1 (−2a + 1) = 4a2 − 4a + 1 + 4a − 1
f1 (x) = 4a2
b) f1 (3b − 2)
f1 (x) = x2 − 2x + 1, x = 3b − 2
f1 (3b − 2) = (3b − 2)2 − 2 (3b − 2) + 1
f1 (3b − 2) = 9b2 − 12b + 4 + 5 − 6b
f1(3b − 2) = 9b2 − 18b + 9
f1 (3b − 2) = 9b2 − 18b + 9

h1 (x) = x2 + 5x − 3
b) h2 (x) = f2 (x) − g1 (x)
h2 (x) = 5x − 2 − x2 − 1
(5x − 2)(x2 − 1) = 5x3 −2x2 − 5x + 2
h2 (x) = −x2 + 5x − 1
c) h3 (x) = f2 (x)g1 (x)

6. Estrictamente hablando, la funcin y = −4 + 4x − x2 no tiene inversa pero
si se hacen restricciones sobre el dominio de la funcion se puede encontrar una
o varias inversas
a) Usar la grafica de la funcin dada y = −4 + 4x − x2 para determinar los
intervalos sobre los cuales se debe restringir la funcin de tal forma que se pueda
encontrar una inversa....
