Introduction
The Present Perfect is a verb form composed of the auxiliary have and the past participle of the verb. The pastparticiple is the form of the verb-ed, if it is a regular verb, or the form set out in the third column of the list of irregular verbs, in the case of an irregular verb.
The present perfect is usedin English to narrate events that have occurred at a time, specific or not, in the past but still have relevance in the present.
Corresponds in its structure with the present perfect tense inSpanish, that is, the verb is constructed with the auxiliary verb have or if you have third-person singular (he, she, it), plus the participle of the verb: subject + have / has + verb in past participle,but not always in use: I Have Been married for two years. (I've been married two years.).
In the sense of the previous example, it is especially important to use to connect the past with the presentand even future. Hence, frequent use adverbs of time as for, since, etc..
For verbal questioning, an investment is made between the subject and auxiliary verb:
Have you Watched this Programmedbefore?
You've broken the glass?
For the negative, not denial is entered after the auxiliary. We also have the ability to "merge" the auxiliary and negation in a contracted form:
I have not...
