La Constitucioacuten de la Repuacuteblica Bolivariana de Venezuelareconoce la salud como un derecho social fundamental, al mismo tiempo que consagra como derecho la mayoriacutea de los determinantes, y responsabiliza al Estado de garantizarla, asiacute como organizar el Sistema Puacuteblico Nacional de Salud, vinculado al Sistema de Seguridad Social. La Constitucioacuten define los principios y valores que deben regir el Sistema Puacuteblico Nacional de Salud. br /Es por esto que el Ministerio Popular para la Salud ha desarrollado una serie de programas conformado por 5 proyectos distribuidos en 23 componentes, con el fin de mejorar las condiciones de salud de la poblacioacuten venezolana. br /
