The 8-year-old Bristol skateboarder with 13 million internet hits
HE may only be eight years old – but online videos of Bristol skateboarder Schaeffer McLean have already been viewed more than 13million times.
The Elm Park Primary pupil, who lives in Winterbourne with his mum and big sister, also has more than 6,000 people subscribing to the videos he posts on the video-sharingwebsite YouTube.

It all started when he was just two years old and had a toy skateboard.
"He would skate up and down the livingroom," says his DJ mum Eve. "So one day I took him to a skate park and he managed to skate the ramp straight away. I was quite shocked and I made a video of him doing it, which I later put on YouTube."Eve didn't check the video again for about a year – but when she did log back into the site she was astonished to find that it had been viewed more than 40,000 times.
"I started making proper videosof him, with music," she said. "Over the last few years we have put lots of them up.
"One of the most popular ones has about four million views."
Many of the videos show Schaeffer skating at variousdifferent skate parks – but there are a couple showing him on the homemade "park" in his living room.
In the winter, when the weather is too bad to skate outside, his mum sometimes lets him set up aseries of ramps through the house.
The family – Eve, Schaeffer and his 15-year-old sister Levanna – also use the skating as an excuse to go on holiday.
"We like travelling," said Eve. "Sometimeswhat we do is look for a cheap flight, then find out where the skate park is there, and head straight there. It's a great way to meet people and learn about the different cultures."
Although Schaefferhas taken part in a few competitions, he is still quite young on the competitive skateboarding scene.
"He takes it all in his stride and just enjoys skating and having fun rather than taking it...
