I totally agree with the motion “Large-scale immigration is good for a country”, because it
enhances cultural diversity.
Rigoberta Menchu, who got the nobel peace prize in 1992, said. I believethat respect for diversity is a fundamental pillar in the eradication of racism, xenophobia and intolerance.
There is no excuse for evading the responsability of finding the most suitable path towardthe elimination of any expression of discrimination against immigrants.
But I have more evidences to present today: To begin with, I would like to mention that immigration exist since the originsof human history, its follows the immigration process to colonize America, then it is more relevant in the second world war, because this facts show the biggest immigration movement through history.Consecuently without these facts the concepts of cultural diversity, multiculturalism,
pluralism and globalization would not have been possible in the world.

Analyzing the information above allthese concepts can be put together in just one big expression “Melting Pot” this involves a place where immigrants of different cultures are integrated harmoniously. We couldn´t see countries suchCanada, sweeden, switzerland, or just cities like New York, London or Ottawa where this term can be seen remarkably.
More over, immigrantion leads to an Exchange of cultural values. It results in anexchange of
knowledge and expertise among nations.
All in all, honestly, I think we may have different religions, different languages, different colored skin , but we all belong to one humanrace. There are no nations! There is only humanity. And if we don´t understand this right now, there will be no nations, because there will be no humanity. Think about this!
