  | We use There is / There are to say that something exists (or does not exist). The real subject usually comes after There is / There are. |Usamos la estructura "hay...." para simplemente decir que algo existe (o no existe). El verdadero sujeto va generalmente después de "hay..." |   |

1) | Use "There is" for singular nouns and things youcannot count.

2) | Use "There are" for plural nouns; that is to say, we usethere are with a plural subject.
