A Tasty Recipe for Lasagna


Ingredients:

-400 grs. of minced meat
-300 grs. of flour
-5 tomatoes
-A handful of parsley
-250 grs. of cheese (preferably gouda)
-A pinch of salt for the meatand the tomatoes
-1 carrot
-5 or 6 garlic cloves
-A cup of milk
-2 spoons of butter
-9 special layers of pasta for lasagna

Process:

1. We start by cooking the béchamel sauce, which isdone by warming milk on a frying pan adding the butter and then the flour. The mixture shouldn´t be too liquid so if this happens it can be corrected by adding some more flour while stirring the mixtureto avoid lumps. We add a pinch of salt and we let the mixture cool down.

2. Time now to fry the meat, we will do this with a little of olive oil, adding the parsley, the minced garlic and anotherpinch of salt. We must remember to take the excess of oil away.

3. Peel the carrot, wash it, and then slice it with the peeler. If the carrot bits are thin, they will be cooked faster once we addthem to the lasagna. After the carrot, we peel the tomatoes and mince them in order to make a sauce out of them. We add another pinch of salt to the tomatoes and they are ready.

4. We boil thelasagna layers for only one minute and we use 3 to make the base for the lasagna. From this point on it´s a process of adding béchamel, meat, tomato sauce, cheese and carrot for each later, then we coverit with lasagna layers and we start the process again.

5. When we have all the layers we want, we add the final layers of lasagna, more cheese and we warm up the oven at 175 degrees. Once the ovenhas reached this temperature the lasagna must remain inside the oven for around 1 hour.
The last 15 minutes the oven can be turned off though, so the dish doesn´t burn and every ingredient can beproperly cooked.


TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:

-Most of the cheese is used at the end so it can give this crusty appearance to the dish.
