Resumen Primeros Capítulos Señor De Las Moscas

Summary of Chapter 1:

Chapter 1 starts with a boy named Ralph, meeting up with a fat, kind of nerdy boy in a beach near a lagoon. They start talking about how they both ended up there. And they conclude that their transportation plane full of English boys was shot down in the middle of the war they were in and crashed in a jungle. They ask themselves if there are any survivors, either boys orgrown ups. While looking around, the fat kid finds a pink conch, which could work as a trumpet for the other kids to hear while they search for them. Their logic tells them that if a plane crashed in the sea, the storm would move the rest of the plane to the shore, so move towards the sea. When they reach the shore, which is described as a place completely different to the forest, Ralph decides togo swimming in to the sea to save the other kids, fat kid joins so they both get naked to enter the water, in that part, the readers receive a description of both kids, Ralph as a twelve year old boy who’s dream is to become a boxer player one day, fat one as a asthmatic chubby kid with big and thick glasses, he introduces him as Piggy. Ralph starts laughing at him for the funny nickname. AfterRalph apologizing for laughing, Piggy tells him that he remembers that the pilot of the plane told him that they where inside the warzone, and the nuclear bomb in Japan has already been released.
Later then they leave the idea of going into the water, they decide to blow to conch, Piggy reminds of MacGyver’s megaphone by doing that, then the noise attracted all the other survivor kids into thebeach with them. The oldest among them are around twelve; the youngest are around six. Ralph and Piggy start to ask everyone’s names. Almost all the kids make fun of Piggy because of his appearance and nickname. All boys decide to choose a leader. Some vote for Jack, but the other boys vote for Ralph. Ralph wins the vote, but Jack clearly wants the position. To please Jack, Ralph asks him to leadsome boys and create a hunting team. Ralph think they need to need to explore the island, so Ralph chooses Jack and another kid named Simon to explore the island, even tough Piggy wanted to do that. Then they all leave the beach and start exploring.
After a while exploring, they reach the end of the jungle, where high, sharp rocks jut toward steep mountains. The boys climb it up just to notice thatthey are on an island with no signs of civilization. The view is amazing, and Ralph feels as though they have discovered their own land. As they travel back toward the beach, they find a wild pig caught in a tangle of vines. Jack draws his knife and steps in to kill it, but gets scared, unable to bring himself to act. The pig frees itself and runs away, and Jack makes a promise that the next timehe will not flinch from the act of killing.








Summary Of Chapter 2:

Ralph and the other explorers return to the beach and blow the conch to summon all the other kids in the beach. He tells them the notice that their not adults neither civilization on the island, they are alone on the island. He starts thinking that they need to organize in order to continue living because theymight have to live in there a long time. He decides to create some rules to have some discipline, the one who broke them would be punished. The first rule is to only talk when you have the conch in your hands. Jack accepts the rule. Piggy scares most of the children by telling them that they might stay on the island a long period of time, a little kid tells that the other night he saw a snake-likemonster in a cave, causing all the small kids to almost pee in their pants, while the older ones try to convince them that monsters do not exist.
Ralph decides to start a fire, a signal for rescue, in the top of the mountains, all the kids get exited about getting rescues that rush into the mountains. With some wood and the reflection of the sun on Piggy’s glasses caused the fire to start....
