What impact did Rosa Parks had on society?

Rosa Parks had a huge impact on society in the times of African American mistreatment. She was a very respected women who stands up for herself. Rosamade a lot of small protests against the law and her dream was to be treated fairly, to be treated kindly and with respect. One of the most recognized movements in society that Rosa had was when shesat in the bus in her section and a white person with no seat asked her to move so that he can sit. Rosa didn’t care and she stayed seated, she was arrested. Rosa later said in an interview “Peoplealways say that I didn't give up my seat because I was tired, but that isn't true. I was not tired physically, or no more tired than I usually was at the end of a working day. I was not old, althoughsome people have an image of me as being old then. I was forty-two. No, the only tired I was, was tired of giving in”. This proves that Rosa was very tired of giving in to the unfair law. The impactit had was that after people saw what Rosa was doing they started to revolt, she was like a leader and revolts started happening. For example, there was a church rally and Rosa was the one who wasarrested, even though there were lots of people who attended. People started caring for her like after that 50 leaders of the African American community got together to talk about Rosa’s arrest. Animpact made after that was that one Monday, no negro person rode the bus, it was a protest, all the Negros walked or made carpools. The protest lasted longer and after 381 days the law requiringsegregation on public buses was lifted. This movement started by Rosa Parks marked a big movement and sparked many other protests towards racial equality.
