Updating the Digix Tablet Firmware
Requirements:
Digix Tablet with Android 2.3 firmware
Mini-USB to USB cable (provided in Digix Tablet accessories)
PC specifically with Windows XP or Windows 732-Bit
Download the Android 2.3 firmware-0405 update to your PC desktop from http://www.digixmedia.com/en/News/news_3.html
Download the IUW 1.2 firmware update program to your PC desktop fromhttp://www.digixmedia.com/en/News/news_3.html
Program that can open .RAR files (WinRAR or 7-ZIP)

*NOTE: After updating your firmware, all data including apps, username/password will be erased.

InstallOTG driver
1. Turn tablet off completely then connect the tablet to the PC with the Mini-USB to USB cable. Make sure that the Mini-USB cable is connect to the DEVICE USB port of the tablet (theone next to the Mini-HDMI, this can be found in the User’s Manual).
2. Turn on the tablet by pressing both the Power Button and Menu Button. Hold the Menu button for a few seconds when you see theANDROID logo and then let go.
3. The PC will now try to install the driver for you to update. When prompted, DO NOT choose to let Windows Update to search for software. The wizard will ask whatyou want to do. Choose “Install from a list or specific location (Advance)”
4. Choose “Search for the best driver in these locations” and select “Include this location in the search:”. Click onBrowse to find the where you put the IUW 1.2 folder on your desktop. Select otg_driver and click OK. Click Next.
5. It will search for the driver SEC SOC Test Board. Once it updates just continue topress Next until it is finish installing the OTG driver.
6. When properly installed, the tablet will show “Communicating with PC…”










Update the firmware
1. Run IUW1.2program, select “Link USB”, and then select “Easy burn”,
