MASTER ENGLISH CONVERSATION - Mysterious Sightings - Question Everything

Welcome to the Question Everything lesson for “Mysterious Sightings.” Listen carefully to the short story
about Jake and Bill. After the story, practice your speaking by answering the questions OUT LOUD. We’ll give
you time to answer before we give the answer, but pause the lesson if you need moretime. Just like in real
conversations, there can be many ways to answer the same questions. So don’t worry if your answers aren’t
exactly the same as ours.
Let’s begin!
Jake was hungry, so he went to Burger King with his friend Bill. Jake got two cheeseburgers and a large order
of fries.
“Would you like a Coke with your order?” asked the cashier.
“No, thanks,” Jake replied. “I’m on a diet, soI’ll just have an ice water.”
At the table, Jake thought he spotted something through the window.
“What is that?” Jake yelled. “Where’s my camera? I think I see Bigfoot!”
“Really?” asked Bill. “That’s just your reflection in the window!”
