Studies and professionals define a scale for edited photographs:
The digitally retouched bodies and faces are increasing more and more every day inthis generation. For example: In fashion the advertising models have an appearance of false beauty that cause self-esteem problems and even eating disorders in people on the real world. But sincethese programs have become so popular, the editing programs had also made a huge impact in politics and in other part of society such as food marketing and business. Experts believe that thesedramatically changes in the appearances should be noted. For these main reasons they have created a classification scale that evaluates the photograph and all the modification it has. Eric Kee from theDartmouth University, the author of this article defines that the new method will notice about all the skin corrections, color, resolutions and the level of modification that the pictures selected have. Thisallows the public to judge the information received.

Since the twentieth century the photography has made a huge impact all around the world. Is clear that the photography was a great advance to the society and itis one of the most important discoveries made by humans. But even though the technology was not delveloped completely, the manipulations started since the first portrait came out. During that timephotographers made an impressive work in photos even with the lack of technologies. For example the first manipulated picture known in America: the portrait of Abraham Lincoln where he is standingbeside his desk.
