1. SLAVERY AND ABOLITION:
Olaudah and his sister were in their village when the traders came for bring they to America. They were seized andthe traders covered their mouths with dirty cloths and the head with sacks, their hands were tied behind their backs too. Offered food forthem, but they were unable to eat because they felt too scared.
Olaudah and his sister were separated and sold for different families. Olaudahdiscovered the slavery in America.
2.THE END OF RACIAL SEGREGATION AT SCHOOLS: Little Rock Story.
In 1957 it was the first day of schoolfor a group of nine black students, ‘’Little Rock Nine’’, they were going to an school for white students,the Little Rock School Board, and forthey could go, they were protected and accompanied for the National guard. Each student had their own guard.
When they were in the school,the white students spat at them, and yelled insults. White mothers pulled their children out of school, and the blacks wanted that the ninesurrendered.
3.THE FIGHT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND Martin Luther King’s dream.
On August 15 of 1964 was the famous speech of Martin Luther King''I have a dream''. In the speech he talk about the freedom for all of the races, about human rights, and the mix of the whites and blacks inthe American society. He wanted stop the racism and the segregation, because all of the people are the same, and all need the same rights.
