To perform this experiment we need the following materials
Baking soda (we asked our father that we buy at the pharmacy)
A napkin (paper,not cloth)
A perforated cork or clay (you can get it in wine bottles)
A drinking straw or straw (the kind that you use to drink soda)
Asmall plastic bottle (of the soda you drank before)
Vinegar (we ask our dear mother)
A bit of sewing thread (our mother is our savior)
As youcan see all these materials are easy to get, so we did not take long to get them.
procedure
We take four (4) tablespoons of baking on thenapkin.
We close the napkin and tied with string (mimicking a bag).
Now in the bottle, we introduce 5 tablespoons of vinegar.
Remember the bagmisses napkin? Well now introduced into the bottle, but not quite, we leave it hanging (with thread) so it does not touch the vinegar bottle.Place the cork (or clay) at the top of the bottle with the straw embedded.
