STUCTURALISM
The structuralism begins in the 1900’s but considered it was born in 1960 in france, finding Lévi Strauss (28 November 1908 – 30 October 2009. a French anthropologist and ethnologist)and his linguistic work (Cours de linguistique générale, Tristes Tropiques) als the main exponent. (Others autors are Michel de Foucault, Rolando Barthes).

What is structuralism?
is a philosophicalideology that try to create objective und verifiable theories, is a path of thinking, it “understand” the human science, tries to explain a specific field by seeing it as a complex system of correlatedparts (structures), it search the structures throught which a meaning is produced between one culture. Structuralism rejected the concept of human freedom and choice and focused instead on the waythat human experience and thus, behavior, is determined by various structures. (used in linguistics, anthropology, literary criticism, sociology and other)
In the structuralism approach is considerednecessary to build "sham logical" (fake) that allow us to understand the facts that has permeated social life of significance. In linguistics we can understand the language als:
1. Synchrony:Saussure proposed that language as a system of signs be studied as a complete system at any given point in time.
Like chess, the important part of language is how pieces move and the positions of all piecesrelative to one another.
A synchronic relationship is one where two similar things exist at the same time. Modern American English and British English have a synchronic relationship.
Diachrony: isthe change in the meaning of words over time. For example in the way that 'magic' meant 'good' in youth culture for a period during the 1980s (and, to a lesser extent, beyond). It is thus the study oflanguage in terms of how it visibly changes in usage. It is based in the dictionary meaning of words.
