Lo usamos para describir las características de los nouns con los adjetivos. Podemos hacer oraciones en afirmativo, negativo y pregunta.

Ejemplos:

PRECENTE SIMPLE:

El presentesimple lo utilizamos para indicar las acciones cotidianas que realizamos, su auxiliar es do(que se utiliza con I,you,we,they), y does(que utilizamos con she, he, it). Podemos hacer enunciados en afirmativo negativo y pregunta.

Ejemplos:

1- Susan always smiles.
2- George seldom laughs.
3- We rarely frown.
4- He is handsome.
5- She is beautiful.
6- I study English.
7- He plays tennis.
8- I workin a bank
9- I leave Madrid tomorrow morning
10- I don't play tennis.
11- She doesn´t go to the cinema.
12- We don´t know the answer.
13- Do you play football?
14- Does she go to the cinema?
15- Do we know the answer?
16- I like hamburgers.
17- Does he play the guitar?
18- Do you like hamburgers?
19- She is not at home.

Presente progresivo:

El presente progresivo ocontinuo es un tiempo verbal del presente el cual se usa en dos casos:

1. Para describir hechos o acciones que el sujeto está realizando al momento de hablar.
2. Para hablar acerca de una acción o planes que vamos a realizar en un futuro cercano
 Para la formación de oraciones en Presente Progresivo, se debe utilizar el verbo “To be” de cada uno de los pronombres personales, seguido porel verbo o acción en gerundio. Recordemos que en la lengua inglesa, para que un verbo esté en su forma gerundia, se debe agregar al final de cada verbo la terminación “-ing”, que en el español, se traduce como las terminaciones “-ando”,”-iendo” o “-yendo”.
Ejemplos:
1.- I'm working on my English homework.
2.- She's reading the newest Jane Green book.
3.- They are watching a movie.
4.- We are goingto the park to feed the ducks.
5.- You're talking too fast.
6.- I'm waiting for a friend to arrive.
7.- Ana is washing the dishes.
8.- He is talking on the phone with his girlfriend.
9.- They're mailing a birthday present to Rosy.
10.- We're learning about present continuous.
11.- The teacher is writing the exercise on the blackboard.
12.- They're running a marathon.
13.- My sister is baking acake for her boyfriend.
14.- David is cleaning the inside of his car.
15.- He's packing what he needs for his travels.

Indica que algo es posible (las circunstancias lo permiten o alguien tiene la habilidad de hacerlo).
Ejemplos:
