To spill salt is something that according to many gives bad luck. As in my family there are no many that are superstitious I am not in the habit of believing much isit. But I have a friend who when it throws salt, she scares and she takes little this salt and puts on it in the left shoulder not to have bad luck.
How boring tohave to do that!
I have tried to have a good attitude before these things.

Knock on Wood.I in the personal thing am not very a believer of the superstitions, but "knock on wood” I use it very much. Every that I think that something bad is going tohappen I strike wood to retract what I said or what I thought, just in case it was true. Once the grandfather of my cousin was very sick and when I told my boyfriendwhat was going I said -Her grandfather is in poor health and will die.- but really was not sure that, just as I supposed. Near me there was nothing of wood and I was toolazy to get up just a superstition "dumb". The next day my cousin came to me and said that her grandfather had died. That terrible event! I felt so bad as a badperson or something like that. I tried to touch the wood every that I think that something bad will happen since that time.

Stepping on cracks in the street.
Theysay that for every crack you step on the street are 10 years of bad luck. I have a friend who believes too much in this superstition. Once she went to a place wherethe flooring was bad and was avoiding every crack that I saw on the floor for two hours, in fact looked very silly doing that, it was like seeing a dance so funny.
