The Ferret

The domestic ferret (Mustela putorius furo) is a mustelid, Polecat subspecies, which was domesticated at least 2,500 years ago. HISTORY

HUNTING
For hundreds of years the main use of ferrets was hunting lagomorphs (rabbits). With its aggressive nature and its long, graceful body, are well suited to enter burrows and hunt the animals that have inside.
