Tim Lewis fills a Niche

Tim Lewis is a college graduate that worked for a technological company and visited business frequently to sell long distance phone service. Hethen realized that there was a need for information on office equipment and technology that new businesses were not knowledgeable of. He found a market niche that no one wasfilling. He then decided to create a business plan and seek mentors to help him in his path of opening a new business. I think Tim Lewis’ method of finding an unfilledniche was a smart way to handle things. He found a needed product and decided to feed the demand. He founded the need for more information on technology for small to mediumsized business and decided to create his own business from that niche. There are many growth opportunities for Tim Lewis because he can reach out to new businesses that havea strong need for new information on technology. There is a need that new businesses seek in technological advancement and do not have the proper knowledge of. Tim helpsthese businesses become advanced with equipment and technology which has become a vital source for business to market their product, reach out to comsumers, advertise theirbusinesses, process product orders, and obtain new business. I would suggest to Tim that he would either need to hire more personnel and work from a remote location, whether itbe his home or local office. His commute to the other areas is a long commute. I would also suggest that he relocates closer to his area of business or temporarilyrelocates until his business expands and he can hire someone to cover that territory. Tim now commutes 90 minutes to work and in between on the cell phone working while driving.
