Dunas de Bilbao
It is an impressive area with fine desert sand, a product of the erosion of the natural elements by the passage of time, that causes us to be transported by ourimagination, to the Middle East. For that reason the area has been chosen by different directors to be used in their movies, even internationally.
The Dunes of Bilbao are located 65 km east of Torreon,which is approximately 45 minutes traveling by car.
Zona del Silencio.
In the central part of the Bolson de Mapimí the Silent Zone is located. The enigmatic name is worthy of many of myths thathave arisen around the zone. The Bolson de Mapimí, is located in the central-north part of the country, about 180 km to the northwest of La Laguna that has as main cities: Torreon-Gomez Palacio-andLerdo, that comprises the Chihuahuense Desert.
