Types of genetic transmission
1. Sex-linked inheritance
 
In this type of inheritance, recessive traits, are inherited differently men and women. The features associatedwith sex, found on the X chromosome genes For example, if a person has trouble distinguishing red from green, is likely to be a man and you have inherited from the mother this difficulty of vision. 
Most sex-related genes are recessive, so if a child receives from a parent a recessive gene such as color blindness in one X chromosome and one dominant gene for example, normal vision colors, onthe other X chromosome from the other parent, the dominant gene will be expressed and will not have trouble perceiving colors. However, it can transmit the recessive gene, so that carries a gene forcolor blindness that can transmit to their children.
