RESUMEN
Mediante este escrito mi propósito ha sido exponer la evolución de las relaciones
absolutas y relaciones relativas dentro del Derecho Romano, especialmente el Derecho
Romano Privado, desde la génesis en las comunidades precitadinas, desarrollando
el período arcaicoy haciendo un estudio inmerso en la historia, en la estructura
estatal, en la evolución del derecho y en la “Iuris interpretario pontifical”; estudio
recopilado en la “Leges XII Tabularum” y al finalizar el Período posclásico también por
el último emperador de Roma, Justiniano I, en el “Corpus Iuris Civilis”; que, unidos
como Derecho Romano, llegaron a convertirse en un monumento perenne y enel
mayor legado de la tradición y de la ciencia jurídica romana como fuente universal y,
por lo tanto, base fundamental de nuestra legislación colombiana.

ABTRACT
This paper presents the evolution of both, Relative and Absolute relationships within
the framework ofRoman Law, especially in the field of private law. The study covers
a period that runs from the pre-city communities and the archaic period up to the
consolidation of the state structure and the “Iuris interpretario pontifical” as collected
in the “Leges XII Tabularum”. When dealing with the post-classic period, it dedicates
