Aggressiveness is an innate human trait and it cannot be avoided.

The idea of aggressiveness as an unavoidable human trait is hardly new, and it has been largely researched and supported byworld-known experts on different fields, from psychology to genetics.

Many people seems to share the beliefs that we are born aggressive, as we are born tall, blond- haired or shy.

In Aesop´s fable,“The scorpion and the frog”, the scorpion bites the frog while they are crossing over a fast- flowing river, although he is perfectly aware that they are both going to die, and when the frog asks him whyhe has done such a thing he just says that it is in its nature.

But, how accurate this statement is?

According to the Nature Theory, aggression is a natural result of genetic disposition,hormonal influence and biochemical reactions, and it supports the idea that not only physical featues bu also more abstracts traits such as personality, tastes and, even, sexual orientation arepre-determined by genetic codes.

The Nature Theory, , supposes that humans, like other biological creatures have within a reservoir of aggressive energy that must be eventually released, in order to becomeless aggressive.

Konrad Lorenz, an Austrian zoologist, ethologist and ornithologist, as well as a Nobel Prize (1973), developed the Hydraulic Model of Motivation to explain this process, andwhether fully accepted or not this explanation was, all ethologists agree that aggression has arisen along with human evolution to serve the same basic functions that in animals, that is to say,regulating the intercourse between members of a species.

Some of the most compelling evidence to support this theory comes from large-scale studies, that show undeniable links between hormones influenceand biochemical activities, and behavior.
