Introduction

We are not stranger to the big problem that the global warming brings us. Weall know that if this continues it may be a catastrophe for our planet. This natural phenomenon affects us in different ways. We going to explain why it is produced, and some of its negativeeffect. I will take a look to some of the countries that are the most likely to be affected for this phenomenon that we as human being are creating.

Global warming consists in the elevation on the temperatures in the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans. This phenomenon is produced because of increased carbon dioxide in fossil fuels, whichcause the intensification of global temperatures and the greenhouse effect – It retains part of the energy from the Sun inside the atmosphere. –
This problem affect to the world in all aspects, butespecially to the ecosystem. In the last years, it has caused the decrease of at least 40% of the thickness of Arctic ice; Sea’s average has increased from 12 cm to about 22 cm, and many others.Animals and humans being are the ones most affected by the consequences of global warming, since the man is not aware of the Earth's care and it destroys it slowly.
The effects and consequences thatglobal warming brings with it for living creatures are:

* Health: Rising temperatures causes an increase in the population of mosquitoes and tropical pests therefore the bites of these insects willcause respiratory diseases, cardiovascular and infectious diseases that spread easily.
* Ecosystems: Product of the water evaporation in covered areas of vegetation appears desert zones.
