Global warming is an important issue which is worrying to everyone. At first, what is global warming? I know you listen every year about this problem in the world, but it’s not onlythat, is an issue which can change our priorities in life and concern people because his terrible consequences not only in the future, we’re living with the global warming!.
So, the climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on thedecrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing.
Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and itsprojected continuation.
GLOBAL WARMING NOWADAYS
As we know Global Warming is expected to be strongest in the Arctic and would be associated with continuing retreat of glaciers, permafrost and sea ice.Other likely effects include changes in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, species extinctions, and changes in agricultural yields.
But well, it’s not only in one country, globalwarming is affecting many parts of the world. Global warming makes the sea rise, and when the sea rises, the water covers many low land islands. This is a big problem for many of the plants, animals, and people on islands. The water covers the plants and causes some of them to die. When they die, the animals lose a source of food, along with their habitat. Although animals have a better abilityto adapt to what happens than plants do, they may die also. When the plants and animals die, people lose two sources of food, plant food and animal food. They may also lose their homes. As aresult, they would also have to leave the area or die. This would be called a break in the food chain, or a chain reaction, one thing happening that leads to another and so on.
