“Crystal Castles”

Introduction
In this work I have to talk about one of my favorite bands and I choseCrystal castles, a Canadian band, that is not very known, because they have a specific public for their music because it is not a common electronic, they play a different rhythm, something more psychedeliclike their style.
For someone this music is just considerate noise but for me and more people that like this style is considerate it “Good music”.
Crystal Castles
Crystal Castles is a band ofelectronic music, more specific experimental electronic. The members of the band are from Toronto, Canada. Actually it’s conformed by Ethan Kath, the producer and Alice Glass the voice. They areknown for their chaotic live shows and their lo-fi home productions.
The crystal castles where the princess She-Rah lived, a character of a cartoon from the 80’s, called He-Man, served as inspirationwhen they give the name to the band.
The fame of this band has increased little by little, participating in some soundtracks of some series like skins, the popular British series, and alsoparticipating in some festivals, and their tours, in United Kingdom, North America, etc. And on 2010 they traveled to South America for first time, where the band had concerts in Chile, Brazil and Colombia. Herein Chile on September, they had two concerts in Santiago, one in “parque O’Higgins” and another on Blondie discotheque but they has become famous for their distorted concerts.
The duo mark thedifference in many aspects, the first is their characteristic musical style that mix many genres like post-punk, new wave, dance, noise with a female distorted voice that lead you to extreme situations,depressed or euphoria, relax or angry, etc. Her voice concentrates a mix of feelings.
