vORGAN DONATION
This time tomorrow, 12 people die in Latin America.
Not because they were in a car accident. Not that the time had come. No, it was that even being in ahospital, the doctors could not do anything to save his life, who could not give the body needed to live. 12 people die because they need the transplant is not possible.Money is not the issue here. If the lack of awareness that exist today in Mexico. Did you know that Spain tops the world list of countries with the highest organ donation,including world record for transplantation and replacement of lung and intestine, with 33. 8 million people saying''yes''wing organ donation, it is no match for the 18.8million people in the United States.
But why is this? Why is our culture has been closed to both improve their quality of life with a transplant? Or worse yet why we refuseto improve or even save someone's life? Rumors and myths that have been generated with the passing of the years have caused millions of people refuse to save someone'slife. Statistics say that 9 out of 10 Mexicans who were against having an organ transplant, they will say''yes''when you need it, but only 20 000 of 100 000 people will haveenough heart and conscience to authorize the donation of organs.
The situations can vary to donate organs, the person can be 100% aware that you are donating their organs,may be in a terminal situation and give herself permission, or you can leave papal signed authorizing the donation of their organs at death .
Today we give thanks for ourhealth, we give thanks for the health of our family, but let's just think, what if I or someone close to me were to need an organ transplant? And if not there, and if I a. ..
