Alexander Graham Bell
Alexander Graham Bell, (Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, on March 3, 1847-Beinn Bhreagh, Canada, on August 2, 1922) was ascientist, inventor and logopedabritánico. He contributed to the development of the telecommunications and the technology of the aviation. His father, grandfather andbrother were associated with the work in phrase and speech (his mother and his wife were deaf), which influenced deeply Bell's work, his investigation the scoutand the speech. This moved him to experiment with devices for the ear. His investigations led him to trying to obtain the patent of the telephone in America,obtaining it in 1876, though the device already had been developed previously by Antonio Meucci, being this one recognized as his inventor 11 of juniode 2002.

His best friend was Ben Herdman, a neighbor whose family was producing a molinoharinero.
