A HUGE MONSTER UNDER THE SEA

It was the summer of 1920, when some strange events frightened people all over the world. Those who worked at sea were especially worried. There were rumors about astrange creature that lived in the Atlantic Ocean. It was believed it was as long as on hundred seventy feet. It was said; it was fast and moved quickly. A few people traveled from America to Europebecause it was not safe to travel by ship across the Atlantic. Many sailors said they have seen a very long thing that swam in the sea surface.

In the cities, there was a mad scientist who said thathe had a treasure hidden in the depths of the Atlantic and he had created a guardian to look after his treasure. Three months later, a group of ten sailors decided to look for the monster. They used asubmarine to travel to the Ocean. Days passed and then months. However, there was no sighting of the creature. The crew become tired and wanted to give up the search and return home. It was 10November and they had been sailing for three month. Two days later, the crew listened the Captain´s voice: “Here is the monster”. They saw a huge whale. Now they were sure about the existence of thecreature. At that moment, the crew begins to prepare to the adventure. There were ten strange suits, made of rubber. There were metal helmets to protect the head and special equipment which provided oxygeninto the suit, as well as guns like harpoons.

Soon, they were walking on the deep sea sand. They passed magnificent rocks and saw strange fishes swimming around them. They continued to walk for twohours until they reached four hundred feet below the surface. The captain stopped and pointed his finger at something. There was the huge monster. But there was something strange, it seemed it wascaring something brilliant.
