El presente trabajo no es obligatorio, lo cual no tendrá efectos en las calificaciones. Sinembargo SI existe una nota de incentivo al final del curso.

I (Yo) and You (Tú)

PRESENT TENSE
Auxiliary “DO”
1. A: Do I have to take the test? (¿Yo tengo que dar el examen?)
B: Yes, you do / Yes, you have to take the test/ No, you don’t have to take the test.
Verb “TO BE”
2. A: Am I at home? (¿Estoy en casa?)
B: Yes, you are at home/ No, you are not at home.

Nota: Recuerdaque existen respuestas cortas como completas o con complemento.

PAST TENSE

Auxiliary “DID”
1. A: Did I have to take the test? (¿Yo tuve que dar el examen?)
B: Yes, youdid / Yes, you had to take the test/ No, you did not have to take the test.

Nota: En la respuesta afirmativa del verbo ‘to have’ (presente) cambia a ‘had’ (pasado). Cuando se encuentra el auxiliar ‘did’ no es necesario convertir el verbo al pasado.

FUTURE TENSE
Auxiliary “WILL”
3. A: Will I have to take the test? (¿Yo tendré que dar el examen?)
B: Yes, you will / Yes, you will have to take the test/ No,you will not have to take the test.

Nota: En las respuestas, tanto afirmativa como negativa, el verbo ‘to have’ (presente) no cambia, ya que se encuentra el auxiliar ‘will’.

4. A: Will I be at home? (¿Estaré en casa?)
B: Yes, you will be at home/ No, you will not be at home.

Nota: En preguntas como en respuestas negativas las palabras ‘will be’ seseparan. Tome en cuenta las diferencias entre el auxiliar y el verbo ‘to be’

Nota: En la respuesta afirmativa del verbo ‘to have’ (presente) cambia a ‘had’ (pasado). Cuando seencuentra el auxiliar ‘did’ no es necesario convertir el verbo al pasado. Además, no siempre se escribe el ‘dos’ (two), en estos ejemplos se emplea ‘dos’ por didáctica.
