My name is John M. Rosario Cruz, and I was born in April, 1994, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. My family raised me in the countryside of Rio Grande, whereI learn a lot about old traditions. When I was 4 years old I started to learn English. While I was growing, I helped my grandfather with his truckscleaning them and running after chicken to do some chicken stock. Later at age of 6 I moved to a new house nearby.

I had great experience in theelementary school, especially in 5th and 6th grade where I received the Ladder Prize. When I started secondary, I met a lot of new persons. The mathclass was a lot harder and by that year the grade system changed to something much harder. Even so I entered the advance math class in 8th and 9thgrade. Finally I graduated with honors and faced the one of the hardest choices of my life, what high school I’m going? I decided to study inVocational School of Fajardo, in the workshop Culinary Arts.

Now in high school it was like a new life, I had to wake up early on the morning to get theschool bus. It was the best years of my life; I had fun all the days. I learned a lot in the workshop, now I can cook any recipe without problem and bea waiter to. 12th grade was the best school year of my life, and finally graduated with acceptable grades. Now I had a harder choice to make, keepstudying culinary arts or change to another profession. I decided to study sonography at UNE of Carolina and here I am now doing my best for my future.
