1. Fra Andrea Pozzo’s Entry of St. Ignacious Into Paradise. Discuss the innovative nature of this work usingcomplete sentences.
This painting is super innovation because it makes you think that that the building goes all the way up to heaven and you can see the angels like on a dream.

2. The telescope ofGalileo; here is a challenge: can you make a connection between what the telescope sees and what the Baroque painter sees? This is a poetic question.

The telescope was made to see beyond the world, beyond the human eye, beyond the thing we used to know; the painters did the same, they saw every special thing in the world, giving importance to the things that people thought they were nonspecial.

3. Sculpture: Bernini gives us a whole new David. Compare his to Michelangelo’s and Donatello's.
Michelangelo’s Davis, was made to express the image of the perfect man, it has theexact proportions and his face is relax, he is rigid, he is not making any move or force. Bernini’s David its different, he is force, his face show us the effort he was making, his lips are tight.4. The Ecstasy of Sta. Theresa-- this is a bit post-Gothic! Theresa was not heresy, sothat’s another dilemma.
