BIOGRAPHY OF JOSE NAPOLEON DUARTE.
Jose Napoleon Duarte Fuentes (1925-1990) Constitutional President of the Republic of El Salvador (1984-1989). Salvadoran politician born on November 23, 1925 in San Salvador, El Salvador. Married Ines Duarte Durán. Their children are: Inés Guadalupe, Jose Napoleon, Jose Alejandro, Maria Elena, Maria Eugenia and Ana Lorena Duarte.
On June 1, 1989, seriouslyill, handed over power to his successor Alfredo Cristiani, the first civilian president of El Salvador, democratically elected, since 1931. He died on February 23, 1990.

Roberto d'Aubuisson Arrieta (August 23, 1944 - February 20, 1992) was a founder of the Salvadoran military and right-wing ARENA party. In 1983 he was president of the Constituent Assembly that drafted the Constitution of The Salvador.1 His parents were Dona Joaquina Arrieta and Roberto d'Aubuisson, son of a French immigrant.
D'Aubuisson died on February 20, 1992, aftera long suffering from throat cancer.

It was the second of eight siblings, children of the marriage between the telegraph and postal worker, Santos Romero and Guadalupe Galdámez.1 was baptized on 11 May 1919, in the parish church of his native city.
OnMonday, March 24, 1980 was killed when a mass in the chapel of the Divine Providence Hospital in Colonia Miramonte San Salvador.

Roque Dalton Garcia (San Salvador, May 14, 1935 - May 10, 1975) was a Salvadoran poet.
Son of U.S. immigrant Winnall Dalton, who was married to Aida Ulloa, the son of Salvadoran nurse Maria Josefa Garcia, Roque Dalton was educated bythe Jesuits at Colegio San José Externado. He traveled to Santiago de Chile in 1953, to study law, but returned to San Salvador to continue his studies.
Roque was killed by his own colleagues in the People's Revolutionary Army (ERP), the guerrilla movement to which he belonged at that time, along with the worker Armando Arteaga, "Pancho", accused of being an agent of the U.S. Central Intelligence. UU., In a house in the neighborhood of Santa Anita, in San Salvador. He was also accused of working for Cuban intelligence, perhaps one of the "aggravating" for his murder.

José María Cañas Escamilla, Salvadoran military, born in Suchitoto, El Salvador, on September 23, 1809, son of Don José María Avilés and Dona Ines Escamilla.
In 1859, being oustedhis brother, moved with him to El Salvador, and the following year returned to Costa Rica, with the intention of regaining power. The expedition failed and General Cañas was shot in Puntarenas on October 2, 1860.
